Participants learn how to move the belly, pelvis, chest and shoulders independently of each other. Through this conscious coordination of the body, posture and back pain can be improved.
Oriental dance uses folklore-derived props such as sticks and veils and trains understanding of Arabic music. Regular belly dance classes of about 60 minutes in duration not only train the back, abdominal and gluteal muscles but also the heart and circulation, and has no age limit.
